The American Chamber of Commerce in the People's Republic of China (AmCham China), U.S.-China Business Council (USCBC) and the United States Information and Technology Office (USITO) would like to invite you to join us for a moment of appreciation for U.S. Ambassador to China Terry Branstad and Mrs. Christine Branstad for their leadership and support for the largest American business community in China jointly represented by our three organizations as Ambassador Branstad leaves his post to return to the United States.

The three some years of his ambassadorship saw some landmark changes to the trade and economic relations between our two countries, including those significantly advancing and affecting the interests of American businesses operating in China. These landmarks now have been denoted by the Phase I Trade Agreement between the United States and China, which paved milestones for how our two countries and companies would trade with each other in decades to come. Together with and on behalf of our business leaders, Ambassador Branstad also met with his Chinese government counterparts and traveled extensively in China to help advocate for American companies' inspiration to trade with China with reciprocity and continue to explore growing market opportunities in this largest trading partner market of the United States.

Ambassador and Mrs. Branstad are also true representatives of the American stories, always reaching out to the communities and working with American businesses to demonstrate our commitment to China and the Chinese people through making new friends and extending the best of American people's good wishes to the Chinese public through many people-to-people engagements, promoting women leadership, explaining American culture, building community togetherness, meeting students, etc., building ties between our two countries that are important for generations to come.

While he departs Beijing as the U.S.'s top diplomatic envoy in China to be with family back home, please join us to extend the best wishes for him and Mrs. Branstad and share his farewell words of wisdom to this community that he has been an unalienable part of.
