***This webinar will be conducted in English.

According to the American Camp Association: "Camp provides children with a community of caring adults who nurture experiential education that results in self-respect and appreciation for human value. All of the outcomes — self-identity, self-worth, self-esteem, leadership, and self-respect — build personal competencies." Now, more than ever, our children deserve the chance to disconnect from technology and connect with people and the world around them.

During this sharing session, Mike Lewis (Houston) & Marco Reyes (Chicago), who have been running American-style camp experiences in China over 10 years, will offer their insights into the benefits of Camp, and why children need this experience in today's world.

This session will cover a variety of educational topics ranging from the historical background of modern camping to interpersonal skills attained through Camp. Topics will include: the importance of interpersonal communication, community building, stories of success, and overall benefit to growing minds. Parents or anyone who is interested in learning American Camp Culture should register for this webinar.

The tickets are limited and preference will be given to AmCham China members and employees of AmCham China member companies.
