According to the results from AmCham China's March 2020 Flash Survey, more companies report significant revenue decline and drop in demand, as three-quarters hold a pessimistic outlook towards economic growth. A long list of industries has been negatively impacted by COVID-19 and economy might suffer a longer-term damage. Since some companies announced plans for mass layoffs in response to business shutdowns caused by the disease globally, "cost-cutting", "redundancy", and "furlough" are no longer new words to both employer and employees.

What decision do employers have to make as facing a financial crisis and significant organizational changes such asacquisition and merger, relocation, and even closure? This time, we are pleased to partner with LABOURS, specialized in legal consulting for labor affairs in China since 1995, to deliver a lesson on how to handle mass layoff challenges correctly and create a win-win situation.

At a Glance:

  • How to manage the Employee Relation (ER) challenges after the Covid-19?
  • What are mistakes commonly made in a traditional mass layoff solution?
  • How to mitigate the legal risk and hidden cost and achieve the guaranteed rate to 99% in 10 days?

The tickets are limited and preference will be given to AmCham China members and employees of AmCham China member companies.
