With the evolution of educational concepts and the upgrade in global mindedness in the market, choosing international education has become a priority for many Chinese parents. According to ISC research, the total number of international schools in China has reached 884, ranking #1 in the world as of July 2019.
Compared to 2018, the year-on-year growth has increased by about 26%. Meanwhile, second-tier and third-tier cities have become the main battlefields of large education groups' expansion.
Thus, in this rapidly developing education market, talent competition is becoming increasingly fierce. According to Mercer's "2019 China International School Total Remuneration Survey", the average age of China's international school teachers is 37.8, and the average serving time is 3.3 years, of which the average serving time of foreign teachers is significantly lower than local teachers.
As such, talent attraction and retention has become one of the most important topics in schools' management and operational planning. How can we prepare ourselves for these challenges and seize the opportunities?
To explore these issues, we would like to cordially invite you to join this International School sharing webinar on February 28 (2:25-4pm) in which we are honored to have Wayne Xiao, Senior Consultant of Mercer Education Market join us and share his insights on what is happening in compensation and benefits in the current market.
