Make your lunch productive by joining 12-15 motivated young professionals from within the AmCham China community to share resources and best practices for success and career development. Young professionals interested in expanding their network, becoming more involved with AmCham China, and getting to know their peers in the expatriate business communityshould register for this informal discussion.
This month, the Young Professionals Committee welcomes Mr. Steve Carroll. Steve is the Human Resources Officer at US Embassy in Beijing and was Finance Officer at US Embassy in Greece before. Steve has been living in China for about 25 years and has worked in finance for 30 years. His successful run included multiple executive level positions at Fortune 500 companies. Before taking the position at US Embassy, Steve was CFO at GE China, Motorola China, and Security Pacific Bank. He also started two successful international schools in Beijing and Taiwan, including Western Academy of Beijing and he pioneered several programs including the GE Financial Managers Program (FMP) in China and the Motorola Tsinghua University/ASU EMBA in China. During the session, Steve will share his professional journey in the HR and Finance industry. He will also be giving career development advice for young professionals, and how foreign firms and individuals can succeed in the current business climate. The session will conclude with the opportunity for guests to ask questions to discuss these and other issues as well as network and get to know other young professionals in the AmCham China community.
Please note that the tickets are limited and preference will be given to Young Professionals from AmCham China members and employees of AmCham China member companies.
