Make your lunch productive by joining 12-15 motivated young professionals from within the AmCham China community to share resources and best practices for success and career development. Young professionals interested in expanding their network, becoming more involved with AmCham China, and getting to know their peers in the expatriate business community should register for this informal discussion.


This month, the Young Professionals Committee welcomes Ms. Lin Gao, CEO of Message Coach. Lin Gao is the writer of one of the best sellers "职得". Lin has more than 20 years of working experience in senior management in fortune 500 companies. Before taking her current position, Lin was Senior Director, Global Government Affairs at Motorola Solutions. She is now focusing on cross-cultural communications and leadership skills coaching.


Lin was the first Chinese female AmCham Vice-Chair. She gives her best in charity work and lives it as part of her driven force. Lin has been using her influence in different industry to draw attention to public services. As a professor at Schwarzman Program, Tsing-Hua University, volunteer speaker at International Junior Achievement Program, TEDx, she has delivered many speeches on career and personal development for young people.


During the session, Lin will share her professional journey and the shift of her perspective from a role in senior management at Multi-national Company to a successful entrepreneur. For people who are looking for a career change, Lin will also be giving advice on how to plan your career path strategically and how to achieve a job advancement.


The session will conclude with the opportunity for guests to ask questions to discuss these and other issues as well as network and get to know other young professionals in the AmCham China community.


Please note that the tickets are limited and preference will be given to AmCham China members and employees of AmCham China member companies.

Terms and Conditions

Attending an Event
Events have limited seating, so to ensure your attendance we encourage advance online registration and payment for ALL events. We cannot guarantee entry to anyone not registered in advance. Most of our events are in English and off the record, but please check the webpage for each event to avoid disappointment.

Advance Tickets and Discounts 
Members can receive a discount by purchasing an advance ticket at least 24 hours before the day of the event. You must pay online at the time of registering for the event to be eligible for a discount. Discounts will not be available to members at the door.

Receipts (fapiao) 
You can receive your fapiao when you arrive for an event provided that you buy an advance ticket and pay online at least 1 working day before the event and you provide the correct information for your fapiao at that time. You can leave details of the type of fapiao you need on the registration and payment page.

Event attendees can request a fapiao at the door or up to two months after the event. Requests made after that time will not be accommodated. Please contact the AmCham China staff member responsible for organizing your event.

Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend an event for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than one business day prior to the event. If you fail to notify AmCham China of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will forfeit the fee you have already paid.

To cancel you can: 1) cancel directly online through the EventBank platform on which you registered or 2) contact the AmCham China staff member responsible for organizing your event.

Privacy Policy
When you register for our events, we collect and use data about you according to our Privacy Policy. This may include contacting you about future events or other information we think you might be interested in. If you would prefer not to receive these notifications, please write to webmaster@amchamchina.org

Prepaid Event Access Terms & Conditions
  • Access to all regular events held at the AmCham China Beijing Office
  • Access only to all cardholding members and employees of member companies
  • The access package can be purchased from AmCham China Beijing Office year-round
  • Access is valid for 12 months period starting from the date of purchase
  • The access is non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Pre-event online registration is required by selecting the “Prepaid Event Access” ticket option and enter the coupon code
  • Use of the package is for the named individual only
  • No part of this access package may be exchanged for cash
