According to the Tianjin Municipal Government’s requirements regarding the internal security of corporations operating in Tianjin and the comprehensive “real-name shield” registration system, on April 24,2018, AmCham China, Tianjin, along with officials of the municipal Public Security Bureau, will jointly give a debriefing regarding corporate security.
The “real-name shield” is designed to strengthen internal security for employee criminal background checks, establish a public security registration system, and prevent criminals wanted abroad from using falsified credentials to gain employment. This system will begin large-scale implementation within local companies by the end of June.
The head of the Public Security Bureau’s Office of Electronic Fraud Prevention will also share tips on telecommunications fraud prevention and installation requirements with us.
