It’s spring in 2018! AmCham China Business Sustainability Committee and European Chamber CSR Committee cordially invite you to join this Inter-Chamber Networking event on March 19. We are very honored to invite James Chen, Chairman of Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation to join us as the distinguished keynote speaker and share his personal philanthropic journey from inception to audacious.

Born in Hong Kong, raised in Africa and educated in Europe and the US, James Chen is a venture philanthropist with a global outlook. His philanthropic journey travels from early childhood literacy, which is managed by his family foundation Chen Yet-Sen Family Foundation in Greater China, to his campaign Clearly, where Chen is on a mission to help the 2.5 billion people around the world who suffer from poor vision to see—and he’s marshalling innovators, startups, governments, and NGOs to make it happen.

In this compelling talk, Chen will explore:
  • His inspiration for becoming a philanthropist
  • Why traditional philanthropy models need to change
  • The power of “audacious philanthropy” and his approach

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to develop your professional CSR network over an after-work drink. Catch up with old friends, make new contacts and learn new information.
