On Nov 23, AmCham HR Forum is organizing another educational series event: Future Ready! Prepare Your Organization for HR Transformation. Our keynote speaker, Vikrant Khanna, Director, HR Transformation and Cloud Advisory at Alight Solutions will share prescriptive insights on key anchors of driving transformation to a state where HR is anchored on outcomes, experience and analytics.     Vikrant Khanna leads the cloud Advisory business for Alight Solutions in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

    In this role he is mandated with both curation and go-to-market for the firms thought leadership, research and new solutions.

    Through his professional journey spanning a decade, he has multi-geography experience spanning global sourcing, industry development & business transformation; and has worked across roles spanning business development, program management, and solution development.

    He is the co-author of Alight’s State of HR Transformation Study, Asia’s most definitive research on trends and approaches being used by organizations to create an Always on HR function that is ready to serve businesses as they go global and digital.

    Vikrant has been part of various globalization and HR Transformation initiatives with organizations that have spanned activities like sourcing strategy, cost & location optimization, HR shared services and performance benchmarking. With an experience spanning geographies like Colombia, Egypt, Guatemala, India, Jordan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Uruguay; he brings deep insights into operations setup and scale-up of global operations.

    He has also been part of several government led initiative on building & executing IT/BPO competitiveness plans that have covered areas like articulating location value propositions, targeting potential customer geographies, and execution of skills development strategies that lay emphasis the creating the right-skilled, industry-ready talent that supports sustainable growth of a location.

    He is passionate about subjects like the future of work, macro talent development, change as a critical capability and the convergence of talent and technology.

    Prior to joining Aon Hewitt, he was a Principal at Tholons. During his stay at Tholons Vikrant authored the NASSCOM-Tholons Global Services Atlas, a one of its kind location intelligence report, in 2014 he was also a co-author of IBPAPs publication The Philippines IT BPM Industry: A decadal journey of moving from strength to strength.He continues his association with IBPAP as a volunteer advisor on strategic and talent development initiatives. In 2015 he worked closely with IBPAP to execute the 2015 Annual Industry Survey on Talent Trends and Growth Expectations.

    Vivian Liu currently the Head of Human Resources in Amazon Web Services, she directs the HR business to support AWS Greater China Region, in partnering with country leaders in delivering the full spectrum of both strategic and tactical HR services, programs to employees and managers. Before AWS, Vivian was HR Director for VMware China. She brought with her 20+ year’s HR experience, with 3 years abroad in Finland and Dubai, 10 years leadership and people management experience in IT industry. She holds many years of HR strategic leadership experience from companies such as Nokia, Oracle and VMware Information Technology, where she led the HR team to work on strategic human resources management, diversity program, performance management, employee retention, learning and organizational development, she also obtained International working experience when she worked for Nokia Headquarter, Finland. There she focused on HR management for sales and marketing staff, as well as on curriculum development and professional & effective capacity building. Vivian was Nokia's first China National to work in Nokia China Institute; she was responsible for various human resource services, succession planning, electronic management in E-HR services. She has special expertise in organizational development, team effectiveness, and talent development.
    Vivian holds HBDI, MBTI, DISC, Leadership 360 Assessment, CPCC Co-active coaching qualifications, and also the DDI, Situational Leadership, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Six Thinking Hats Certified Instructor certificates.
    Outside of work, Vivian enjoys spending time with her family, she has two lovely kids, one boy and one girl. She works as career coach for BiMBA students in Peking University and regularly serves at a local foundation and a non-profit organization.

    Melody has more than twenty years of full spectrum human resources experience serving a number of the world's fortune 500 enterprises. She acted as a trusted advisor to business leaders and had solid experience transforming Human Resources functions to be business driven and customer focused. She also has proved track record to design and implement human resources policies and processes to achieve better business results and to build up a healthy organization environment.

    From February 2012 to September 2013, Melody served as a Human Resources Director to Lenovo, Mobile Internet and Digital Home Business Unit. Previously, Melody served as Group Human Resources Manager to Microsoft Asia Pacific R&D Group as well as Sales Marketing & Services Group from March 2006 to February 2012. Prior to joining Microsoft, Melody led the overall Human Resources function for Bayer-Schering Pharmaceutical Company in China from 2004 to 2006. Melody also held several senior positions in the areas of Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Sourcing and HR Business Partner at British American Tobacco Inc. from 1997 to 2004.

    Melody holds MBA Degree from Peking University and Bachelor of Economics from Renmin University.

Terms and Conditions

Attending an Event
Events have limited seating, so to ensure your attendance we encourage advance online registration and payment for ALL events. We cannot guarantee entry to anyone not registered in advance. Most of our events are in English and off the record, but please check the webpage for each event to avoid disappointment.

Advance Tickets and Discounts 
Members can receive a discount by purchasing an advance ticket at least 24 hours before the day of the event. You must pay online at the time of registering for the event to be eligible for a discount. Discounts will not be available to members at the door.

Receipts (fapiao) 
You can receive your fapiao when you arrive for an event provided that you buy an advance ticket and pay online at least 1 working day before the event and you provide the correct information for your fapiao at that time. You can leave details of the type of fapiao you need on the registration and payment page.

Event attendees can request a fapiao at the door or up to two months after the event. Requests made after that time will not be accommodated. Please contact the AmCham China staff member responsible for organizing your event.

Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend an event for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than one business day prior to the event. If you fail to notify AmCham China of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will forfeit the fee you have already paid.

To cancel you can: 1) cancel directly online through the EventBank platform on which you registered or 2) contact the AmCham China staff member responsible for organizing your event.
