AmCham Northeast Chapter, German Chamber of Commerce in Shenyang, European Chamber of Commerce Shenyang Chapter, and the International Club of Dalian are cordially inviting you to an informative and practical briefing on essential rules and regulations in China on Friday, October 20th, 2017 in Kempinski Hotel Dalian.

On a daily basis, foreign managers in a leading position of a company in China must make decisions to maintain the company’s operations. This seminar will give an overview of the main tax, finance, and legal requirements for compliant business operations, and aims to raise awareness for potential risks in the course of running a business in China.
During this seminar, the participants will learn about:

Law:
- Forms and legal structures of foreign-invested companies
- Liabilities of managers in China
- Law enforcement and prosecution in China
- Basic knowledge of Chinese Labor Law

Finance & Tax:
- Requirements of accounting in China
- Specific features of financial statements in China
- Overview of the taxation system in China
- Internal Control System (ICS)

Speakers:

Dr. Martin Seybold is a German attorney-at-law and heads the Beijing Office of Roedl & Partner. He focuses on Chinese business law, mainly in the fields of foreign direct investment, M&A transactions, corporate law, compliance, white collar crimes, and IP protection in China. Before joining Roedl & Partner in April 2013 in order to head the legal department of the Beijing office, Dr. Seybold built and led his own law firm in Beijing for more than 8 years. He also has over 13 years of practical experience in and with China, and has advised many foreign-invested enterprises in the country.

Ms. Tanja Fuchs heads the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Tax Department of the Roedl & Partner Beijing office. Before joining Roedl & Partner, she worked for different German automotive manufacturers in the areas of investment controlling, internal auditing, and corporate strategy, and also has experience in international credit risk management. She has over 10 years of experience in the core fields of Roedl & Partner’s advisory activities.

NOTE: From July 1st, we are not able to issue fapiaos for a month due to business registration upgrade under recently implemented Chinese State Council business and tax reform requirements.  Sorry for the inconvenience in advance, and the earliest estimated date we will be able to provide these fapiaos back to you is August 1st. 

Attending an Event
Events have limited seating, so to ensure your attendance we encourage advance online registration and payment for ALL events. We cannot guarantee entry to anyone not registered in advance. Most of our events are in English and off the record, but please check the webpage for each event to avoid disappointment.

Advance Tickets and Discounts 
Members can receive a discount by purchasing an advance ticket at least 24 hours before the day of the event. You must pay online at the time of registering for the event to be eligible for a discount. Discounts will not be available to members at the door.

Receipts (fapiao) 
NOTE:
From July 1st, we are not able to issue fapiaos for a month due to business registration upgrade under recently implemented Chinese State Council business and tax reform requirements.  Sorry for the inconvenience in advance, and the earliest estimated date we will be able to provide these fapiaos back to you is August 1st. 

You can receive your fapiao when you arrive for an event provided that you buy an advance ticket and pay online at least 1 working day before the event and you provide the correct information for your fapiao at that time. You can leave details of the type of fapiao you need on the registration and payment page.

Event attendees can request a fapiao at the door or up to two months after the event. Requests made after that time will not be accommodated. Please contact the AmCham China staff member responsible for organizing your event.

Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend an event for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than one business day prior to the event. If you fail to notify AmCham China of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will forfeit the fee you have already paid.

To cancel you can: 1) cancel directly online through the EventBank platform on which you registered or 2) contact the AmCham China staff member responsible for organizing your event.
