Within China and on the global stage we are currently witnessing entire industries being completely disrupted. Globalization and accelerated technological change bring increased opportunity and at the same time increased complexity, uncertainty and volatility to companies and business leaders. The need for leaders to be more agile, innovative and resilient to survive and thrive within this changing landscape is clear. Although measurement of impact is not comprehensive, significant evidence suggests Executive Coaching, Team Coaching and Group Coaching as an intervention is more effective than other learning methods in increasing agility, innovation and resilience. The use of these developmental interventions has increased significantly in Mainland China over the last decade and the recently released 2017 Asia Coaching Study shows trends of the use and effectiveness in Coaching from 2010 to 2017 from the perspective of the companies using coaching and both internal and external executive coaches. This years Coaching Study also includes data on Hong Kong and India, in addition to Mainland China.

On September 12th, AmCham China HR Forum is delighted to host an event on “Leadership in An Agile World”, with highlights of the 2017 Asia Coaching Study. The presentation will then be followed with a panel discussion themed “Leadership and Coaching”. We have invited experienced executive External Coaches (EC), Internal Coaches (IC) to share their own coaching experiences and observations, as well as in-house HRDs to share corporate best practices.

Want to keep abreast of what's effective in leadership? Want to make the utmost of EC and IC and incorporate them into your company’s own leadership pipeline? Join us for this exciting event on Sep 12th!
