  • David Zhu

    David Zhu

    David is a member of ASTD (US) and an IPMA (UK)-accredited trainer. He is a certified DISC trainer and received a Fundamental Certificate from the Co-Active Coaching Program (accredited by ICF) in 2011.
    David is a management trainer and consultant with more than 25 years of sales and management experience in multinational companies in the US and China. He is the former Project Director and Business Development Director for ECI Telecom Ltd. While at Cisco Systems China as the National Account Manager, he led a team responsible for global key accounts, including China Telecom Group and China Mobile Corp.
    David has been engaged in management consulting since 2004. He develops and delivers training programs for clients such as Bosch, Cisco, Dell, DMG, DMG MORI, EMAG, Engel, Fujitsu, GM, Google, HP, Johnson Controls, Kimberly-Clark, Lenovo, LEUCO, Mercedes Benz, Microsoft, Porsche, Vollmer, Volvo. These courses include: Insight Selling, Key Account Management and Sales Management for Sales, Leadership Development and Project Management for Junior and Senior Managers, as well as other soft skills programs for cross-functional staff. David was a guest trainer in dealer leadership programs for General Motors and Daimler in China from 2009-2013. He customized the global programs to fit China’s situation and led the follow-up coaching project.
    David is not a fan of “the classics” or off-the-shelf material. He believes in a consultative training solution, for which he invests time in needs analysis, program development as well as follow-up work. He delivers with passion and impact so the participants are always engaged and involved. His cross-cultural background and rich experience in different industries (International trade, IT, Telecom, Automotive) add value to his programs.

    David graduated from Tsinghua University in 1989 with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering. He received his MBA from UIBE in 2000.
