On September 2, 2025, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of State (DoS) will introduce significant updates to several non-immigrant visa categories—including B1/B2, L1, H1B, and F1 visas. These changes will affect application procedures, eligibility requirements, duration of stay, and sector-specific restrictions, and may directly impact executives, technical professionals, and international students.


To help you better understand and adapt to these updates, AmCham China Northeast Chapter is honored to invite Consular Chief, Bernadette Halat from theU.S. Consulate General in Shenyang to lead a special briefing session. She will clarify key aspects of the new policies.
