This course will be delivered in English.

This program equips the participants with skills and style to clearly state their opinions and feelings as well as advocate their needs in a multicultural working environment. Participants will learn how to overcome barriers that cause conflict and misunderstanding without being passive and aggressive. Assertiveness is a right and is the balance between expressing what you think and what you feel in an appropriate manner in a multicultural setting. Learning how to behave and communicate assertively will enhance one’s effectiveness and efficiency in multicultural workplace, especially for those who have an indirect and implicit communication style.

Understand cross-cultural communication processes in the workplace
Build confidence in interpersonal interaction and communication in a multicultural environment

Who should attend?
Anyone who needs to interact with many people to get her/his work done, those who work in a matrix organization, those who work in virtual team, and those who are working in a multicultural environment, etc.

Coffee, lunch and light refreshments will be provided during breaks.

Special Registration Information:

You must register in advance. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Attendees need to pay by Apr 11, 2016. Limited spots are available and attendance is given on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you cannot attend a training for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than five business day prior to the training.     Donny HUANG

    Donny Huang is founder and managing partner of 4 stones Cross-Cultural Consulting Group. He has consulted for large multinational corporations such Singapore Airlines, Nike, Motorola, the World Bank, UBS, Royal Bank of Scotland, Areva, Agilent, Telkom Indonesia, among others. As an executive coach, Donny has coached many senior executives in China, such as the managing director at Dell, Chief Procurement Officer at Lenovo, General Manager –Marketing Greater China at Microsoft, etc.
    Donny started his career with Standard Chartered Bank. Following his MBA, Donny moved on to serve as International Operations Supervisor and Representative for Allied Domecq Retailing International, the parent company of Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin’ Donuts. He was VP at Datahouse and then Managing Director of Pilot Marketing Management Consulting Co. Mr. Huang was Vice President, Sales & Marketing for a Canadian public-traded company.
    Donny Huang is frequently quoted in and has published over 30 articles in the Chinese business press, as well as contributing to “Managing Cultural Difference” (Sixth Edition) by Dr. Robert Moran, and a book chapter in 2010 Pfeiffer Leadership Development Annual book, and co-authored a book - Global Mindset Leadership published in USA in 2014. He holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona, USA, and did graduate work on Cultures and Leadership at the East-West Center in Hawaii.
    Donny was Vice Chair-Asia for Thunderbird Global Council, and is committee member of 2005 Committee.
