Event Details

The United States Embassy in Beijing is one of the world’s largest. All US federal agencies are represented, and staff across all departments and teams work daily to further the world’s most significant bilateral relationship. The Embassy and consultates throughout the country have issued 2.7 million visas.

To give our members important insights into the workings of the US Embassy, and how the US Embassy can support us in our professional and personal lives, AmCham China is launching a quarterly series featuring embassy staff from various sections that work on issues directly impacting AmCham and our members. This quarterly series is brought in partnership with the Foreign Commerical Service.

This first event in this series will welcome Consular Officer Steve Dubé to discuss the 2016 US-China Tourism Year, review the success of 10 year visa validity, share details about appropriate visa classifications for temporary and long term work assignments to the United States. His remarks will be followed by questions from the audience.

Please note that this member-only event is now free of charge.
