AmCham China, the United States Information and Technology Office (USITO) and the US China Business Council (USCBC) are delighted to welcome officials from the Fujian Government Commerce Department and the China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Administration. They will provide first-hand information on the Fujian FTZ's policies, service outsourcing trade and investment opportunities, as well as policies to support the ICT industry. These officials will also answer questions from the audience. This is a unique opportunity for members to hear more about the Fujian FTZ directly from the implementing authorities.
On April 21, The China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) was officially inaugurated. The Fujian FTZ covers 118 sq km in Pingtan, Xiamen and Fuzhou, with a focus on promoting cross-Straits cooperation with Taiwan. A series of policies have been launched, including a negative list, trade compliance facilitation and supporting measures for service trade and the ICT industry.
