Event Details

As companies continue to expand into international markets, it is essential to develop the skills required for working, managing, and leading across cultures and borders. This M2M program will demonstrate the impact of culture on communication, relationships, business culture, and management styles.

Not only will participants will be introduced to the Cultural Orientations Model, but they will also receive a personal Cultural Orientations Indicator® Assessment to identify critical gaps and to practice cultural style-switching to increase personal effectiveness. Simulations will allow participants an opportunity to experience a global team environment and apply cross-cultural skills and techniques.

    Managing Director of Training Management Corporation

    Ken has spent 17 years of his 25-year professional career living and working outside of his home country. Prior to joining TMC in 2012, Ken was the Director of Human Resources and a Managing Director of Glenmede, an investment and wealth management firm. In this role, he oversaw the development of strategic HR initiatives and HR operations, including organizational development, succession planning and talent management. From 2003-2006, Ken was the Director of Human Resources, Information Technology and Business Information for the Near East Region of Novo Nordisk A/S. Ken received a Bachelor of Science in Languages and Linguistics from Georgetown University, a Masters of Arts in Postcolonial Literature from the University of Copenhagen, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College. He is also a graduate of the General Manager Program at Harvard Business School.
