AmCham China Education Committee is pleased to present an online event about studying in the US on Dec 15th, 4:00-5:30 pm!

According to the latest released Open Doors International 2021/22, the United States remains the preferred study-abroad destination for international students. China remains the largest source of students, with nearly 300,000 Chinese students currently studying in the United States. We're honored to have Grayson Walker, Education Officer of Education USA, interpret this authoritative report's latest data.

After Grayson's sharing, Carol Li Rafferty, Executive Director of Yale Center Beijing will host a panel of educators and experts to share their perspectives on international students' enrollment, studies, and employment opportunities in the US. The panelists in this session are:

  • Oksana Carlson, Associate Dean, Global Collaborations, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School
  • Zening Ge, Executive Director, University of Chicago Center in Beijing
  • Fran Liu, Director of China Office, University of Minnesota
  • Jingyu Wang, Executive Director of Beijing Global Gateway, University of Notre Dame

We will offer two Q&A sessions to the Embassy officers and educational experts for all audiences. All members interested in higher education in the United States are welcome to attend this event.
