China has been steadily working on land reform for years, and it's benefited many farmers. Gradual reforms since the 1980s saw the trading of urban land evolve into a vigorous property market. The new round of reform encourages circulation of land use rights on the open market. This promotes diversified agricultural business models and brings more opportunities, as well as greatly impacts the use of the land for industry purposes.
AmCham China's Real Estate Forum and Agriculture Forum invite Dr. Lou Jianbo from Peking University Law School to discuss his research and insights on topics such as the transition of rural land reform in China, the dynamics in the revision of the property law, and the recent property registration trend.

Dr. Lou has been teaching and researching on real estate law and commercial law at Peking University since 2005. He is one of the key advisers to the real estate law revision.
