The Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT), held at the end of December in Chicago, ended a busy year of bilateral meetings and discussions between the US and China. The talks built on the success of the November bilateral meeting between Presidents Barack Obama and Xi Jinping by emphasizing points of common interest and delivering agreements on sectors from agriculture to legal services.
The American Chamber of Commerce in China and the US-China Business Council are pleased to co-host a de-briefing with officials from the US Embassy in Beijing who participated in this year's JCCT negotiations.
