Debriefing on the 14th US-China Oil & Gas Industry Forum
AmCham China's Oil, Energy & Power Forum is pleased to invite Mark Nelson from ConocoPhillips and Joe Dumesnil from Halliburton to share their insights from the recent 14th annual US-China Oil & Gas Industry Forum (OGIF).
Nelson, Vice President of Commercial and Communications with ConocoPhillips China, will speak about replicating North American shale success in China and address the regulatory and commercial hurdles.
Dumesnil, China Unconventional Tech Team Leader with Halliburton, will elaborate on the way the industry is collaborating to make full field development smarter and not just dependent on cost reduction with economies of scale. He will also provide an overview of the unconventional (shale gas, tight gas, and tight oil) opportunities in China and the associated subsurface challenges the industry is facing today.
The OGIF serves as a platform to bring the key players of the oil and gas industry and government agencies from the US and China to facilitate an open dialogue focusing on technology, market development, and government's role.
