The American Chamber of Commerce in China and the US-China Business Council are pleased to host a briefing from an interagency team from the US government led by Mark Cohen of the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Mr. Cohen, along with representatives from the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, USPTO, and the US Embassy, will give a briefing of the outcomes of their meetings held this week with numerous Chinese government agencies in preparation for the upcoming Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade meeting in December.
In addition to an overview of the meetings and outcomes, the delegation is interested in hearing from the business community on strategies for engagement with Chinese government agencies on key issues for intellectual property rights technical assistance enhancement.
