AmCham China is pleased to invite you to a free luncheon briefing from the Mayor of Fort Worth, Texas as well as the CEO of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on September 25 from 12:00-13:45 at the Grand Hyatt Beijing. The Mayor will lead an air service development mission delegation of some 20 members to Shanghai and Beijing. In Beijing, the delegation will be led by Mayor Betsy Price of Fort Worth and Sean Donohue, CEO of DFW International Airport.
The Mayor of Fort Worth, along with the Chair and CEO of DFW International Airport and representatives from the Dallas Regional Chamber and Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, will brief attendees on their air service development mission to China and the global business advantage provided by DFW for business with the United States and beyond to Latin America.
China is Texas' second largest import market, valued at more than US$ 40 billion each year. In addition, Texas exports more than US$10 billion each year, making China the #4 destination for Texas products. In addition, American Airlines recently launched non-stop flights to Shanghai and Hong Kong from DFW International Airport. DFW also serves as one of the largest logistics hubs in the U.S., with more than 67% of the air cargo trade represented by Asia. DFW International Airport is the third busiest airport in the world in total operations and has more than 200 nonstop destinations.
