The Mayor will lead an air service development mission delegation of some 20 members to Shanghai and Beijing. In Beijing, the delegation will be led by Mayor Betsy Price of Fort Worth and Sean Donohue, CEO of DFW International Airport.

China is Texas' second largest import market, valued at more than US$ 40 billion each year. In addition, Texas exports more than US$10 billion each year, making China the #4 destination for Texas products. In addition, American Airlines recently launched non-stop flights to Shanghai and Hong Kong from DFW International Airport. DFW also serves as one of the largest logistics hubs in the U.S., with more than 67% of the air cargo trade represented by Asia. DFW International Airport is the third busiest airport in the world in total operations and has more than 200 nonstop destinations.
