Chaoyang District is the well-known home of Beijing's Central Business District, but it is also emerging as a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship. The Overseas Talent Entrepreneurship Conference (OTEC), an event jointly produced by the Chaoyang District Government and Red Pagoda Resources, is hosting successful entrepreneurs from all over the world this week from Seattle, Amsterdam, and Seoul.
AmCham China and OTEC invite you to hear a select group of these entrepreneurs share their experience, as well as their unique insights and perspectives on how to effectively create and lead businesses. Tom Henneberg, a former Navy SEAL Lieutenant Commander who helped launch the corporate ventures arm of Boeing will open the event, followed by a brief panel discussion led by entrepreneurs invited by OTEC: Parry Bedi, CEO of SocialGlimpz, and Phil Potter, Director of Veterans' Incubator for Better Entrepreneurship (VIBE) at the University of Washington in Tacoma.
