Get together with like-minded young professionals from AmCham China, BritCham/CBBC, and the German Chamber of Commerce to hear two experts discuss their experiences with social media. Jeremy Webb, China National Director of Social Media at Ogilvy, and Jeremy Goldkorn, Director of Danwei, will speak about this tool and how it has affected their careers. Afterwards, young professionals will be able to network and further discuss social media.

Jeremy Webb has lived in Beijing on and off for seven years. Five of these years have been spent at Ogilvy, where he founded Social@Ogilvy, growing it into a core team of 10 and a community of more than 50 people spread across the Ogilvy network. Having studied Chinese at the University of Leeds, Jeremy speaks, reads and writes Chinese. He recently published a book in Chinese, the Angry Editor.
In 2003, Jeremy Goldkorn launched Danwei as a blog, which was acquired by the Financial Times in 2013. The firm specializes in digital due diligence, tracking policy discussions, and analyzing media and social media of companies, brands and investments. His other positions include being an affiliate of the Australian Centre on China in the World, a co-editor of the annual China Story Yearbook, a co-host of the Sinica podcast, and the founder of GreatWallFresh.com, a social enterprise to help Chinese peasant farmers run small tourism businesses catering to foreign outdoor enthusiasts.
