AmCham China invites you to attend a book launch, "The Leadership Imperative: Forging Success on the Work Front and the Family Front" featuring the Honorable Gregory W. Slayton, former US Ambassador to Bermuda, CEO of the venture capital firm Slayton Capital, and distinguished visiting professor to Dartmouth College and UIBE Business School.
Ambassador Slayton will cover topics that many men deal with, including the importance of being a supportive father for your family, how to provide fatherly support regardless of distance, and tapping into the full potential for nurturing fatherly relationships. His talk will draw from his international best-seller "Be a Better Dad Today" which has sold over 100,000 copies in 15 different countries since its release in 2014 and is being published in China by CITIC Press. The Slayton's Family Foundation is dedicated to improving US-China relations and 100 percent of the royalties from book sales worldwide are being given to local charities. A free copy of the book (either the US or Chinese version) will be given to all attendees and the event will also include a book signing.

The Honorable Gregory W. Slayton is a well-known and successful Silicon Valley CEO and Venture Capitalist, a McKinsey & Co executive, an Ivy League Professor and a US Ambassador.
