Creating a healthy relationship requires fun, work, and openness to self and others. Using the models of positive psychotherapy, Cope will present some views on how to create and maintain conscious, healthy relationships—whether it is with yourself, a friend, an intimate partner, or a family relationship.

Cope holds his MA and Ph.D. in Psychology and is currently lecturing on organizational behavior, business communication, and psychology of success, in the School of International Business at the Dongbei University of Finance & Economics (DUFE) in Dalian. He is certified as a family counselor and psychotherapist in positive psychotherapy, a trans-cultural and cross-cultural therapeutic method originating in Germany. He and his wife have lived and taught in different regions of China for the past 15 years.
