Please join AmCham China for an informative discussion on the development of insolvency infrastructures in China with Professor Wang Weiguo, dean of the Department of Economic Law, China University of Politics and Law, and member of China's insolvency drafting committee; and Professor Charles D. Booth, Carlsmith Ball Faculty Scholar & Director, Institute of Asian-Pacific Business Law, William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai`i at Manoa.

Topics covered will include: the challenges caused by the Asian Financial Crisis and China's responses to the crisis and domestic concerns, how China's development of insolvency infrastructure compares with that of Hong Kong and Japan, and why there is such a low number of insolvencies in China.
Following the presentation, Professors Wang and Booth will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Professor Hank T. Wang
