Carl Brewer, mayor, City of Wichita, Kansas, is honored to invite you to attend a reception at AmCham China on Thursday, October 17, to officially open the Wichita Aviation Office in China (Beijing).
Being "The Air Capital of the World" in general aviation, Wichita has over 90 years of history in the aerospace industry. Wichita-produced general aviation aircrafts comprise more than 1/3 of worldwide annual deliveries, and companies such as Beechcraft, Cessna, Learjet and Spirit are all headquartered in Wichita.
As China continues its development in the general aviation industry, the industry will undoubtedly offer opportunities for decades to come. The City of Wichita will share resources, expertise and knowledge with Chinese counterparts, so that both sides can mutually benefit within a sustainable partnership.
