AmCham China is pleased to invite you to a briefing by its Export Compliance Working Group (ECWG), which recently completed its annual Washington, DC Outreach. Please join us as we discuss the outcomes of the DC Outreach, the goals of ECWG moving forward, and upcoming activities that ECWG will be focusing on.
Since 2008, the group has visited Washington DC annually to meet key US Government policymakers to discuss export controls. This year's delegation included ECWG co- and vice-chairs, along with member company representatives. This year's Outreach also coincided with the Bureau of Industry and Security's (Commerce Department) annual export control update. The ECWG delegation met with officials from the Departments of State, Commerce, and Defense; the National Security Council; and several Members of Congress and staffers from both the House and the Senate.
