AmCham China's Intellectual Property Rights Forum welcomes members and non-members for a lunchtime panel discussion on IP litigation in China. Intellectual property rights remain a strong concern for our membership, as highlighted by findings in this year's annual AmCham China Business Climate Survey. It revealed growing concerns over the effectiveness of enforcement, as well as rising costs to member companies resulting from IP theft. This event will shed light on the procedural particulars of IP litigation in China, including recent changes to the Civil Procedure Law, available remedies, and enforcement of judgements.
The panel discussion will cover: 1) Civil procedure in China as it relates to IPR litigation, including issues in evidence collection and preservation 2) Preliminary (evidence preservation, preliminary injunctions, etc.) and final remedies 3) The enforcement of civil judgments
