How to Navigate the Bidding Process for Chinese Government Contracts (Members Only)
In cooperation with the Foreign Commercial Service Section of the US Embassy in Beijing, Bryan Erwin, director, Advocacy Center, International Trade Administration, US Department of Commerce, will discuss the types of advocacy assistance available to US companies in China.
The Advocacy Center (http://export.gov/advocacy) helps to ensure that sales of US products and services have the best possible chance of competing abroad. Advocacy assistance is wide and varied but often involves companies that want the US government to communicate a message to foreign governments or government-owned corporations on behalf of their commercial interest, typically in a competitive bid contest. Since its creation in 1993, the Advocacy Center has helped hundreds of US companies--small, medium and large enterprises--in various industry sectors win government contracts across the globe.
One-on-one meetings with Bryan Erwin are also available both following the program on April 2 at the AmCham China office in Beijing, and on the evening of April 1 at a location to be determined , on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact Elizabeth Shieh at Elizabeth.Shieh@trade.gov, (8531-3423) for more information and to sign up.
This session is offered free to AmCham China members and member company employees.
