The American Chamber of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China (AmCham China) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization whose membership comprises 4,000 individuals from 900 companies operating across China. The Chamber’s nationwide mission is to help American companies succeed in China through advocacy, information, networking, and business support services. In addition to our headquarters in Beijing, AmCham China serves Tianjin, Central China, and Northeast China through our Chapters in Tianjin, Dalian, Shenyang, and Wuhan. Across the five offices, AmCham China has more than 30 working groups, and holds more than 150 events each year.

AmCham China Northeast Chapter kindly invites you to participate in an online seminar on 24th February shared by PWC on the theme of Alternative and Flexible Workforce Under the New Economy Reality.


In the age of rapid corporate expansion and organic growth, organizations are increasingly dedicated to developing their own unique talent models that enable them to assess the vast depth of human capital in the market to meet ever-changing performance needs of their businesses. By exploring to break through the traditional hiring method under the PRC law, various organizations are developing its alternative and flexible hiring models to attract top-tier talents in bespoke positions, harness the power of networks and special expertise, as well as to optimize their workforces for efficiency and effectiveness.


In this sharing session, we will discuss some of our insights in the industry, the developed common market practice on hiring methods under China law, along with the considerations behind some of developing modes of alternative and flexible workforce.
