Summary
On July 17th, the Young Professionals Committee welcomes Tracey, an anchor and reporter of Global Business, CCTV News' (now CGTN) flagship business program.
Tracey is also serves as the host for New Money, a weekend program focuses on China's new generation of entrepreneurs. She has conducted numerous in-depth interviews with leading global CEOs and business leaders and served numerous times as a moderator for the Davos world economic forum, she was also invited to be a keynote speaker by South Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn at the country's biggest media MBN forum.
In 2009, Tracey was crowned the winner of Miss New York USA, becoming the first woman of Chinese descent and first foreign-born contestant to win the pageant in U.S. history. In 2010, Tracey was honored with former New York City Mayor and presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani for their outstanding contributions to the Asian American community, and was given the Asian American Excellence Award by former New York State Governor David Paterson.
During the session, Tracey will share her professional journey and will also give career development advice for young professionals. The session will conclude with a Q&A session to discuss other issues as well as networking opportunities for you to get to know other young professionals in the AmCham China community.
Space is limited to just 15 motivated young professionals from within the AmCham China community to share resources and best practices for success and career development. Young professionals interested in expanding their network, becoming more involved with AmCham China, and getting to know their peers in the expat business community should register for this informal discussion.
The tickets are limited and preference will be given to Young Professional committee members, AmCham China members, and employees of AmCham China member companies.
