AmCham China and USCBC invite you to join a membership briefing and dialogue with the U.S. Ambassador to China Terry Branstad. In the midst of ongoing bilateral trade tensions, this will be a conversation that is just in time given the escalating trade tensions between the U.S. and China.
AmCham China's consistent messaging on bilateral trade, including in our recent statement regarding the Section 301 announcement, AmCham China once again reiterated that "focusing on reciprocal treatment while maintaining strong communications between the governments will be the best path forward to get to our goal of a level playing field based on fairness." Our membership includes companies coming from some of the most relevant sectors, including agriculture, automotive, aviation, food and beverage, high-tech and information and communications technologies, financial services, service industries and others. We hope that AmCham China members can participate in the briefing and strengthen communications with key stakeholders.
Share your question in advance!
The program is open to all AmCham China members and member company employees. And we encourage senior level executives to also join if scheduling permits. To help build a more productive conversation, when registering, please also submit a question that you would like the ambassador and his senior embassy team to speak to at the briefing. We will select questions and provide them for the embassy team to consider and prepare.
Seats are limited for this important dialogue, please RSVP at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Evan Schmitt from AmCham China at eschmitt@amchamchina.org or +86 (10) 8519 0885
Please note that this event will be Off the Record.
