If you answered "yes" then this interactive Berlitz Workshop is just for you! The workshop will be split into two parts; First will cover email writing fundamentals and best practices, and second will be dedicated to participants practicing responding to realistic scenarios with their own writing and given immediate feedback from the trainer.


AmCham China has cooperated with Berlitz to present you an online English training program to help you with expressing emails and other examples of business writing in a concise, impactful and formal manner.

  • Subject Lines. Tell the message without opening the message.
  • Forms of Address. Set the right tone
  • Punctuation & Formatting. The little details matter.
  • Formality & Syntax. Thebread and butter of business writing.
  • Examples of Business Writing. Different documents, different styles.
  • Closings. Finish strongly.
  • Real-time writing exercise. Put everything covered into practice!

    Born and raised in the UK, Lee has been with Berlitz Beijing for over 6 years as Senior Instructor and Soft-Skills Consultant.
    He is currently in charge of developing and delivering diverse workshops as well as high-quality customized business language instruction for a wide range of MNCs.
    Besides being an expert language trainer, he is also an experienced cultural training facilitator with extensive knowledge and understanding of the bigger picture and thesmallerdetails.
    He is enthusiastic yet patient and openminded; he is a strong believer of “when youstoplearning,youstopliving”.

     BA in Economics from the University of Leicester in the UK and has studied for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.
     10yearsexperienceasalanguage instructor and 7 years experience withBerlitz.
     Previous experience in South Korea and Hong Kong and travelled extensively throughout Asia.
     Native fluency in English and Cantonese and conversational to basic in Mandarin, Korean and French.
