Steven Okun, Founder and CEO of APAC Advisors and Senior Advisor to McLarty Associates, is a leader on corporate public affairs, ESG, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement. A 21-year resident of Singapore, he spent the first twelve years of his career in Washington, DC, including in the Administration of President Bill Clinton as Deputy General Counsel at the US Department of Transportation. As KKR’s first Director of Asia Public Affairs from 2011-2017, he was one of the first people in the region working on ESG in private capital. From 2003-2010, he created and led Public Affair for UPS Asia. An in-demand speaker in the corporate and the financial services sector, Steve also appears frequently across global media, provides the weekly International News Review for MONEY FM (Singapore) and contributes commentary to Nikkei Asia, The Straits Times, The Business Times, Eco-Business and Asia Times.

Greg Schultz, Senior Advisor to LSN ESG, has a strong background in social governance through various vehicles; he has led many successful political campaigns at the local, state, and national levels; including an Ohio Governors’ race and the Biden Presidential campaign.

As the architect and manager of the winning Biden Democratic presidential primary campaign, Greg helped ensure that the candidate’s core strengths and unifying message remained consistent, setting the stage for the general election. In his subsequent role as the General Election Strategist and Senior Advisor, Greg oversaw the campaign’s engagement, coordination, and battleground state efforts with the broad democratic party ecosystem, including the DNC, state democratic parties, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Democratic Senate Campaign Committee, and outside partners.

Greg has spent a great deal of time with communities throughout the country and learned firsthand the potential benefits or harm from a company’s actions in the broader community. Greg has a clear understanding of the perspective from consumers, shareholders, policymakers, and stakeholders who now demand businesses operate sustainably and inclusively.

As a senior advisor to LSN ESG, Greg works with clients to provide evaluations of their firm’s social and environmental considerations, followed by a proposal of a plan of action to improve the company strategy and implementation. Prior, Greg also held senior roles in the Obama/Biden campaigns, including managing the 2012 re-election in the key battleground state of Ohio, and joined the White House in late 2013 as the Senior Advisor for Vice President Biden and Special Assistant to President Obama. His tasks in the Vice President’s office included overseeing many public engagement efforts and co-founding “It’s on Us,” the national organization working to change the culture around sexual assault on college campuses. In addition, Greg oversaw the Vice President’s intergovernmental affairs and served as his political advisor.

After leaving the administration, Greg spent 2017 and 2018 running Biden’s American Possibilities PAC, overseeing his midterm engagement and travel to critical districts, states, and communities across the country. With Greg’s direction, Biden assisted Democrats to win back the House while simultaneously strengthening his network in key constituencies.

Greg graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in history and political science and a master’s degree in education.
