After 15 years in a number of HR roles across Schneider Electric, in April 2020 Charise was appointed Chief Human Resources Officer. Before joining Schneider Electric, she gained experience at various international companies which were maturing their operations in China.

Having led HR teams in Businesses, Sales organizations and Country Operations, her most recent position was SVP HR Services and People Strategy. As the engine of HR in a global company, it gave her tremendous insights into HR Tech, future trends and market practices. On a personal level, she enjoys being part of a high performing team, leading transformation and digital challenges.

Larry Emond is Senior Partner at Modern Executive Solutions, a global talent advisory firm that does organization and talent strategy, executive development, and executive search across all major operational and functional areas. He is an advisor and coach to leaders of global companies, and especially Chief Human Resource Officers. He is also an advisor to several HR industry start-ups and early stage companies. He is a frequent speaker and workshop leader on a variety of topics around what is trending in big company HR, including the leading AI agents for HR applications.

For many years Mr. Emond has led the world's largest community of big company CHROs, today known as the M1 CHRO Community, which has over 400 CHROs as members, from 27 countries and averaging 75,000 employees per company. He does about 40 in-person meetings within that community every year, all over the world. They range from a day + dinner to three day retreats.

Emond began his career at Gallup in 1992, when he started Gallup’s operations in Tokyo and helped open offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangkok. Before joining Gallup, he worked for several years at the Japan Management Association Research Institute, an economic and management think tank.

He received his bachelor’s degree in international commerce, Asian Studies and Japanese language from San Diego State University. He is a certified (CPCC) leadership coach, and also certified in the Hogan and CliftonStrengths assessments. He splits his time between homes in Barcelona and Denver.
