Summary
Building on the theme of the 2026 AmCham China Women's Summit, Leading Forward: Women Driving Growth, Innovation, and Impact, and the launch of the Women's Leadership & Impact Awards at the March Summit, which recognized Outstanding and Emerging Female Leaders, the Women Professionals Committee is launching the Women's Leadership & Impact Dialogue Series.
The series features in-depth conversations with award recipients on leadership, growth, and meaningful impact in the workplace. The first event will feature a fireside chat between Mei Zhang, recipient of the 2026 Outstanding Female Leader Award, Founder of WildChina, and current PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, moderated by Michael Hart, President of AmCham China.
Known for her distinctive perspective on leadership, culture, travel, and mindful living, Mei has built a highly engaged audience of more than 650,000 followers on RedNote (ๅฐ็บขไนฆ), where she shares reflections on long-term thinking and personal growth.
Through an open and reflective dialogue, Mei will share personal insights across three themes:
- Building Authentic Personal Influence: Finding your own voice and building meaningful influence
- Long-Term Thinking in a Fast-Moving World: Embracing patience, purpose, and long-term growth
- Redefining Success and Meaningful Impact: Reflecting on anxiety, personal growth, and how definitions of success evolve over time
