The First Trial Jujutsu Experience at AmCham China

Developed from traditional Japanese jiu-jitsu and refined into the modern martial art practiced worldwide today, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is often described as "human chess" for its emphasis on technique, strategy, and problem-solving rather than strength or size.

In this introductory session, participants will learn fundamental movements, positional control, and basic self-defense techniques while experiencing the unique challenge of working with a training partner in a safe and supportive environment. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, BJJ helps develop coordination, confidence, body awareness, and teamwork.

Today, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is practiced by millions of people of all ages and backgrounds, making it one of the fastest-growing martial arts and recreational sports in the world.

The AmCham China Sports Committee invites you to step onto the mats and experience the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu firsthand.

Limited to 20 participants. Registration will close once all spots are filled. A minimum of six participants is required for the session to proceed.

Dress Code: Comfortable athletic wear. For safety reasons, please avoid clothing with zippers, buttons, or other hard accessories.
