Event Summary

As businesses navigate increasing geopolitical complexity, evolving regulatory expectations, and changing stakeholder dynamics, understanding how to build and manage corporate reputation has become increasingly important.

Join the AmCham China Marketing, Advertising and PR Committee for an exclusive briefing with Sandpiper on the Reputation Capital Scorecard 2026, a global study drawing on insights from more than 3,000 C-suite executives across 27 markets, including Mainland China. The session will explore how organizations are navigating reputation and corporate affairs in an increasingly complex business environment, with a particular focus on the China market.

The discussion will cover:

  • How China compares with other markets in the study, and what sits behind those differences
  • The gap between how CEOs and communications leaders see the same issues โ€” particularly when managing expectations from global headquarters
  • Relationships with government and regulators, and what distinguishes the strongest performers
  • Measurement and insights, and why demonstrating the value of corporate affairs remains a key challenge

The session will be led by Emma Smith, Founder & CEO of Sandpiper Group, and Kelly Johnston, Global Chief Operating Officer of Sandpiper, who bring extensive experience in strategic communications and public affairs across Asia Pacific and other global markets. The discussion will offer valuable perspectives for communications, public affairs, government affairs, and business leaders navigating today's complex operating environment.
